Magnesium (chelated):
Necessary for protein and fat metabolism, and
blood sugar regulation. It is the key element in the
production of enzymes needed to oxidize fats and to
metabolize purines. It also has the ability to
metabolize fats and carbohydrates. Magnesium is a vital
catalyst in enzyme activity, especially the activity of
those enzymes involved in energy production.
Manganese: Activates enzyme systems necessary
for burning calories.
Chromium (Picolinate): Helps the body
regulate insulin, which regulates the level of blood
sugar.
Molybdenum (chelated): This essential mineral
is required for nitrogen metabolism. It aids in the
final stages of the conversion of purines to uric acid.
It promotes normal cell function, aids in the activation
of certain enzymes, and is a component of the metabolic
enzyme xanthine oxidase.
Betaine: Plays a critical role in the health
of the cardiovascular system. Betaine reduces
potentially toxic levels of homocysteine (Hcy), an amino
acid found normally in the body. Homocysteine metabolism
is linked to that of several vitamins, especially folic
acid, B6, and B12, and deficiencies of those vitamins
may cause elevated Hcy levels. In recent years, studies
have suggested that a high level of Hcy increases a
person's chance of developing heart disease, stroke, and
peripheral vascular disease (reduced blood flow to the
hands and feet).
Choline Bitartrate: Important fat emulsifier
involved in the biosynthesis of lecithin and the
formulation of the amino acid methionine. It aids in
emulsifying cholesterol so it doesn't settle on the
arterial walls. Inositol, Choline and Methionine are
integrally involved in how the liver handles fats. This
powerful nutrient trio triggers your body to burn off
excess fat.
Inositol: Simple carbohydrate which has been
demonstrated to exert activity by transporting fat
through the blood system. Inositol, Choline and
Methionine are integrally involved in how the liver
handles fats. This powerful nutrient trio triggers your
body to burn off excess fat.
L-Methionine: Amino acid which acts as a
catalyst for Choline and Inositol, thus speeding up
their function. Inositol, Choline and Methionine are
integrally involved in how the liver handles fats. This
powerful nutrient trio triggers your body to burn off
excess fat.
Siberian Ginseng: Strengthens the adrenal
gland, and promotes healthy circulation. It increases
the conversion rate of sugars into the necessary
substrates for the formation of fatty acids in the
liver. Siberian Ginseng stimulates the central nervous
system and is a quick antidote for fatigue.
Turmeric Tuber: Used throughout Southeast
Asia and India for thousands of years, Turmeric has been
shown to aid circulation, lower cholesterol, and improve
blood-vessel health. Healers have used Turmeric for
years for the treatment of obesity, and it is said to
cut fat from the blood.
L-Carnitine (Fumerate 55%): Naturally
synthesized in the liver, Carnitine's primary purpose is
to promote fat metabolism in the muscles. It also
converts body fat into readily available fuel and
elevates levels of certain enzymes needed to metabolize
sugars, starches and other carbohydrates. For fat to be
used up as fuel, Carnitine is essential.
Lecithin Powder: Helps to support the liver
and aids in the metabolism of fat. A mixture of
phospholipids, this powder foams up and emulsifies to
escort fat and cholesterol out of the body. It also
releases phosphatidyl choline, which nourishes the
brain. Lecithin is used to strengthen the heart as it
clears the blood vessels of cholesterol. It is used to
help dissolve fat.
Bee Pollen Powder: Contains 35% Protein, 55%
Carbohydrate, 2% Fatty Acids, 3% Minerals and Vitamins.
High in B-Complex Vitamins A, C, D and E. Also contains
Lecithin, Beta Carotene and Selenium. It is rich in
vitamins and contains almost all known minerals, trace
elements, enzymes and amino acids. It contains the
essence of every plant from which bees collect pollen,
in combination with digestive enzymes from the bees.
This combination of elements make bee pollen an
excellent source of antioxidants. Bee pollen is rapidly
absorbed into the bloodstream and stimulates
immunological responses.
Damiana Leaf: Commonly used as an energy
tonic, Damiana stimulates muscular contractions of the
intestinal tract and the delivery of oxygen throughout
the body.
Gotu Kola: Considered to be one of the best
herbal tonics, Gotu Kola works by cleansing and
purifying the blood, neutralizing acids and helping the
body to defend against toxins. Gotu Kola has important
anti-fatigue properties, builds mental stamina and
improves memory and longevity.
Peppermint Leaf: Contains a warming oil which
aids in increasing oxygen in the blood, and works to
clean and strengthen the entire body. It contains
essential oils similar to Fennel, which help with weight
reduction by suppressing your appetite. The primary
function of this herb is appetite reduction.
Barberry Root:
Has been shown to be effective in lowering blood
pressure, reducing heart rate and respiration, and
stimulating intestinal movement.
Ginger Root:
Stimulates the vasomotor and respiratory centers, as
well as stimulating blood circulation. Recent studies
have concentrated on the benefits of ginger to the
digestion of food.
Potassium (chelated): This mineral aids in
proper muscle contraction, and works with sodium to
control the body's water balance. Potassium is important
for chemical reactions within the cells, and aids in
maintaining stable blood pressure and transmitting
electrochemical impulses. The American Heart Association
recommends eating foods that are high in Potassium for
weight loss.
Spirulina Algae:
Aids in protecting the immune system, in cholesterol
reduction, and in mineral absorption. Spirulina Algae
supplies nutrients needed to help cleanse and heal,
thereby curbing the appetite.
Royal Jelly: A rich source of proteins, also
containing eight essential amino acids, important fatty
acids, sugars, sterols, phosphorous compounds and
acetylcholine. Royal jelly contains vitamins A,
B-complex, C, D and E. It is particularly useful for its
B-complex components, including B1, B2, B6, B12, biotin,
folic acid, and inositol. Royal jelly is high in the B
vitamin pantothenic acid, recognized for its ability to
reduce stress levels. It also supplies the minerals,
calcium, copper, iron, phosphorous, potassium, silicon
and sulfur.
Vanadium: Needed for cellular metabolism. It
has been shown to have the ability to improve insulin
utilization, resulting in improved glucose tolerance, as
well as inhibiting cholesterol synthesis. It is useful
in lowering LDL Cholesterol levels.
